My Work

Music videos with character

Raincoated Revue is a series of live session videos focused on documenting the sound and personality of the artist. Directing and producing these videos, I try to accent the music with the moments outside the songs, and pair them with locations around Rochester.

Storytelling from the edit room

In documentaries, the narratives are written in the edit. For this local awards showcase, I worked within a client-provided theme to tell each the story of each nominee’s business in a concise and compelling way. Distilling hours of interview down to short intercut segments, I bridged the speakers together with the VHS player as a narrative device.

Documentary roots

Ms. Jackson follows a story of resilience during cancer treatment and creates a portrait of Lucinda Jackson’s life. This documentary was one of my first student films at RIT and was screened in the One Take Film Festival’s shorts program. I feel honored to have been trusted with Lucinda’s story.

Narrative flare

Whether it’s a commercial, documentary, or a music video, I try to bring a cinematic approach to my work, focusing on distinct motivated visuals and a humanistic narrative core. Tiny Boat Movie was my capstone project at RIT, an understated coming of age story about friendship and moving on.
